Despite a chorus of clamoring for more blog posts since Random Thoughts went on hiatus before Thanksgiving, (ok, that statement was hyperbole - only Big Al has demanded publication, but he did so TWICE), rest assured that your Humble Blogger has not been afflicted with writer's block. Instead, a loyal, if misguided client, has called upon me to utilize the power of my written advocacy to convince a Agency of the Federal government to do the right thing by them. Oh well, it is the Season of Miracles after all.
Turning then to what's really important, the lads of Davidson College will play St. Johns (formerly Redmen, now Red Storm) in the World's Most Famous Arena Monday nite, by which time all Americans hope that Congress will have adjourned, so the Republic will again be safe.
As we feel this Joy at the closing of the 111th Congress, and the commencement of the final two year's of the Obama Administration, many hosannas have been earned by noteworthy Americans, who put country above self interest, party, regional favor or advantage - our brave military men and women volunteering to go into harm's way; one Federal Judge in Virginia saying no to the Obamacare Mandate, which would be the death knell of personal freedom, and to the millions of informed voters who said no to endless trillion dollar federal deficits.
So to All, I say Peace on Earth and Goodwill to everyone.
