What in the World does Supreme Court know...

... and when will we know that at least five of its members understand the foremost constitutional principle that unfettered political speech is the core First Amendment right of every American, including those groups of citizens who choose to organize themselves as a corporate entity, both for profit and for eleemosynary purposes.

Under McCain Feigngold, corporations and unions are prohibited from the expenditure of their general treasury funds for any electioneering communications, that is advocacy for or against any candidate for federal office at times relevant to the influencing of potential voters.  Sounds like the patriotic obligation of every citizen in our Republic.

Yet, the MSM uniformly supports this undemocratic limitation on political speech.  Why you ask?  Because the participation of corporations in attempting to sway voter sentiments is only "corrupting", and "venial" when it is done by other corporations.  NY Times Corporation, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, Washington Post, etc, are all corporate entities that do whatever they possibly can to influence voters, but they have an exemption from McCain Feigngold as the benighted Fourth Estate.  Journalist can never be constitutionally regulated, because of the protections set forth in the 1st Amendment.

Thank goodness, I am a recognized journalist myself.
