The Demo's ObamaCare makes you an offer you can't refuse

Every once in awhile, a defining moment for a person, for a family, for a community and for a nation occurs. We are now approaching such a momentous event for all of the above.
Soon, everyone in America will need to stand-up and be counted, or stand down and be herded like sheep into a forced collective as docile servants of the State, under the guise of compelled individual behavior to "promote the general welfare".

For first time in our 233 year history, the STATISTS (Government is the Solution) in Congress are asserting the constitutional authority to force every American citizen to purchase a discretionary commodity to be selected by Washington bureaucrats - universal health insurance. Failure to buy mandatory health care coverage would be penalized by fines, and even the potential for imprisonment.

Should these Statists succeed in compelling the expenditure of a person's private assets in this coercive fashion, the relationship of the individual to the American government will be radically and perversely altered forever. It will not longer be by the people or for the people.

A precedent that: "for the good of everyone, an individual's otherwise perfectly legal choice on the spending of his/her own money is curtailed" surely will soon result in even more intrusive controls over our private lives for the "greater good". To stay free, your voice must be heard in Washington with the clarion call: "my life, my money, my choices". Buy gold, my friends, and not the public option.
